The food is great the pies are delicious and the salad rolls are delicious and great value for money. Also hot food is great valve too. The girls are all positive and friendly they are a credit to the company

Simply the best plate steak pie - you can keep the M&S best because it’s not a patch on the Angus pie. I’m just sad that I don’t get to Seaham often now, but I must make the effort. I wrote this after eating a much anticipated Tesco steak pie - just don’t bother, it was awful.

Beautiful food,sandwiches,cooked meats etc,homemade scotch eggs are a favourite of mine but my overall fave at the minute are the date and walnut scones,10/10 I haven’t tasted anything as nice n as fresh! Staff are all very friendly too.My auntie travels from Newcastle just to buy the steak plate pies.

Edited and updated for Aug 23. Price of breakfast sandwich is now £4.95, still excellent value as the quality is just as good, and the size hasn’t decreased. Dec 22: Had a breakfast sandwich this morning. Good quality sausage, bacon and egg in a fresh bun. Paid £4.80, which for the quality of the items is really good value. The lady serving me was friendly and polite, overall excellent!
Really lovely food. I had a sandwich and a steak pie, both of which were fab. Really friendly staff and excellent service too. I'll definitely be back.

This deli has never changed in producing plate pies and the likes of pork sandwiches etc exactly as my mother made for me over 60 odd years ago. Beautiful, genuine home cooking and baking, long may it last!!!🥧🥟🍕🍔
Smelt amazing! Fresh and immaculate (looks and cleanliness wise) and the staff couldn't be more welcoming. Very helpful and always smiling and happy. Will be returning every time I'm in the area. Staff were a credit to the business. Highly recommended boys and girls. Well done 👏
Probably the best steak and kidney pie I have ever had. After saying that everything else is absolutely fantastic. The staff are always busy but still have time to be pleasant and talk to you. Angus Deli catered for Dads 90th birthday buffet today. The quality and presentation of all the food was excellant with a lot of guests saying it was the best buffet food they had eaten. Thank you very much.
Fantastic great staff, great products a lot made in house their pies are to die for. Fantastic home produced cooked meats. Angus deli and Angus butchers you can not go wrong with them far superior products than supermarkets.
Sometimes a big queue, but that's generally a good sign! Often the card machine doesn't work, which in today's world makes things difficult. Sandwiches hot and cold great, pastery products all good with a home made feel and excellent quality of contents. Would recommend the hot hog roast sandwich with all the trimmings.

On a trip back to Seaham for a family funeral we Visited Angus’s Deli for some bread buns, pease pudding and cooked ham today before travelling home to Cheshire as they don’t know what pease pudding is down here. The quality of all three items from Angus’s was excellent and combined were a taste sensation. I will be back on my next visit to Seaham.
